About Three

Three UK is now part of VodafoneThree following the merger completed 31 May 2025, approved by the CMA in December 2024. Founded in 2003 by CK Hutchison Holdings as the UK's first all-3G network, Three grew into the unlimited-data specialist — launching 'The One Plan' (unlimited data) in 2010, years before rivals. Three holds more 5G spectrum than any other UK operator (140MHz in 3.4–3.6GHz) and consistently leads independent 5G speed tests.

Three SIM Only plans (June 2025 restructure): Lite (no roaming, cheapest), Advanced, Value (Go Roam Europe: 49 destinations), Complete (Go Roam worldwide: 160+ destinations, Paramount+ included). All include unlimited calls and texts, 5G free, personal hotspot. Annual price rise: £1.80–£1.90/month each April (30-day rolling plans exempt).

Three Pay Monthly plans bundle handsets (iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel) with airtime on 24 or 36-month device plans. Higher tiers add Go Roam. Three+ loyalty perks available. Can pay off device early and switch to SIM Only.

Three PAYG uniquely includes Go Roam in 71 destinations at no extra cost — one of the best PAYG roaming deals in the UK. Add-on packs valid 30 days. No credit check required. eSIM available on PAYG.
